CCAE-TDIMM Professional Learning Opportunity Fund
CCAE, and its National Partner TD Insurance Meloche Monnex, are committed to ensuring that educational advancement professionals fulfil their aspirations within their institutions by delivering exemplary programs, resources and services that focus on innovation, value creation and connection.
Emerging from the new CCAE 3-year strategic plan, and in partnership with National Partner TD Insurance Meloche Monnex, CCAE is proud to announce the creation of the CCAE-TDIMM Professional Learning Opportunity Fund. This new fund will provide each CCAE member institution with a $1,000 credit to be used for participation in CCAE professional learning events.
This new Opportunity Fund will allow all CCAE member institutions to continue advancing their staff professionally and ensuring the strength, capacity, reach, and impact of the advancement community across Canada.
Details regarding the use of the CCAE-TDIMM Professional Learning Opportunity Fund
- Each CCAE member institution will receive a $1,000 professional learning credit to be used on any CCAE professional learning activities until April 30, 2021.
- Use of the credit monies will be a decision of the institution – based on review of CCAE’s professional learning schedule and internal decisions.
- Individuals who have approval from their institution to use the fund are to register for an event and pay through the portal.
- The CCAE Office will keep up-to-date records of event attendance. In December 2020 and April 2021, a list of attendees from an institution will be sent to the senior advancement leader’s office for identifying registrations to be covered by the Opportunity Fund. CCAE will issue refund cheques to the schools equal to the value of the identified credit.
A: The Advancement Leader within the institution will receive a message from the CCAE office and is asked to respond to identify which individual(s) registration fees will be allocated to the $1000 credit. Following the identification of the credit use, the CCAE office will send a cheque to the institution in the amount designated. It is up to the institution to distribute the credit if the amount is spread over multiple departments within the institution.
A: No, the Fund credits must be used on events that happen prior to April 30th 2021.
