TD Fellowships in Advancement 2016-17


CCAE Congratulates 2016-17 TD Fellows in Advancement

CCAE is very pleased to announce the two recipients of TD Fellowships in Advancement for 2016-17: Stacey de Molitor at Mount Saint Vincent University and Kara Reynolds at St. Lawrence College.

CCAE Congratulates 2016 Distinguished Service Award Recipients


CCAE is proud to announce the 2016 recipients of CCAE Distinguished Service Awards, which celebrate achievements in and contributions to Canadian advancement and education. Each recipient will be recognized at the CCAE Awards Evening on Wednesday, June 8th in Saskatoon, SK.

The CCAE Rising Star Award recognizes accomplishments in the institutional advancement field by recipients who demonstrate early success as an advancement leader. As part of the Rising Star Award, the recipient is granted a Presidents’ Scholarship with a value of $2,000 to support participation in a CCAE professional development activity.

The 2016 CCAE Rising Star Award recipients are:

    • Sarah B. MacDonald, Acting Manager of Annual Giving, Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia; and
    • Tom Meadus, Director of Advancement, New Brunswick Community College, Fredericton, New Brunswick

The CCAE Outstanding Achievement Award, supported by Manulife Financial, recognizes a current or past CCAE member who has made extraordinary contributions to the field of educational advancement over a number of years.

 The CCAE Outstanding Achievement Award recipient is:

    David Palmer, Vice-President, Advancement, University of Toronto

The CCAE Friend of Education Award, supported by The Offord Group, recognizes outstanding service or commitment to post-secondary or independent school education by a volunteer, organization, foundation, corporation, or publication. The recipient has made a significant contribution in a leadership role to the cause of educational advancement or education in Canada.
