Sheila M. Biggers

Sheila Biggers is the Assistant Dean, Development at the Sauder School of Business and draws from over fifteen years experience as a fundraiser and leader in the non-profit sector raising major gifts, developing teams, and working with non-profit boards and committees. Sheila is also the principle and founder of SMB Non-Profit Services, a firm specializing in providing public and custom courses in fundraising. Actively involved in the community as a volunteer, Sheila and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation. Previous to working for UBC, Sheila managed the BC Wildlife Federation annual fundraising program; marketed the Canadian Red Cross Society (Coastal Region) health promotion programs; and managed the Downtown Oakville Business Association. She earned her BA in Sociology and Consumer Studies from the University of Guelph.
