All-Canada Alumni Event

The All-Canada University Association of Washington, DC, and host Carleton University are inviting all Canadian alumni to the 32nd Annual All-Canada Alumni Dinner featuring Edward Greenspon, Editor-in-chief, The Globe and Mail.

Held at the National Press Club in the heart of Washington, DC, this celebratory evening will feature Carleton University alumnus and Editor-in-chief of The Globe and Mail, Edward Greenspon, who will speak on celebrating Canada’s identity.

Tickets are $70 CDN or US per person, which includes a cocktail reception, three-course dinner, keynote address, coffee, and entertainment. Suggested dress is business or cocktail attire. Note: space is limited so purchase your tickets today.

About Edward Greenspon:

Mr. Greenspon took over as editor-in-chief of The Globe and Mail in 2002 after 16 years with the paper. Before assuming his current position, he was political editor of The Globe and Mail, writing a column from Ottawa and co-hosting CTV’s weekly current affairs program Question Period.

Mr. Greenspon is also co-author of Double Vision, The Inside Story of the Liberals in Power, for which he shared the 1996 Douglas Purvis Award for the best public policy book, and Searching for Certainty: Inside the New Canadian Mindset. He has won the Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism and the Michener Award for journalism.

In addition to his honours degree in journalism and political science from Carleton University in Ottawa, he was also a Commonwealth Scholar at the London School of Economics, where he earned a master’s degree in politics and government.
