Results of the 2007 Profusion Conference Survey

The CCAE Pacific Council presented its second ProFusion conference on November 1 and 2, 2007, for CCAE members and non-members in the Pacific Region, BC and the Yukon. The conference was held at the University of Victoria’s Dunsmuir Lodge near Sidney, BC.

The conference began on Thursday evening with a networking reception dubbed “Survivor Vancouver Island.” The following morning our keynote speaker was Dr. Jason Cressey on the topic of Emotional Intelligence at Work. There were also five roundtable discussions on timely topics related to Communications, Development and Alumni Relations. Over lunch we heard from a panel on the topic of the Campus 2020 Report. Finally, there were three afternoon track sessions on the topics of Messaging Through the Media (Marketing and Communications), Transformative Ideas That Make a Transformative Difference (Development), and 2010 and You (Alumni Relations and Student Recruitment).
