Message from the CCAE-O President

As president, it is my pleasure to welcome to you the CCAE-Ontario web pages. I encourage you to visit us from time to time to keep up to date with our various activities and services.

Ontario has a long-standing commitment to the advancement of education in Canada. A proud member of the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education, Ontario is dedicated to the organization’s vision to be the authoritative source for Canadian educational advancement. Our mission is to be the primary provider of professional development through creative programming and services that meet regional needs, educating advancement professionals to be the best in the field. We do this through our annual Fall Workshop—an affordable one-day conference with sessions on the various facets of advancement. Ontario provides annual scholarships and awards to the membership, assisting individual members to attend CCAE conferences and events—check these out! We also partner with CCAE National by organizing and hosting the Summer Institute for New Professionals to Advancement.
Over the coming months, Ontario will be working alongside the CCAE National board and our regional partners as the organization transitions to a new structure and the next phase of its evolution. At every step, we will continue to serve the needs and interests of the Ontario membership, providing the highest quality of professional development programming for advancement professionals in Canada.
