CCAE Scholarships

The Paul Webb Scholarship

The Paul Webb Scholarship is a $500 award designed to fund professional development for an individual working in the area of alumni relations. Endowed by the former Association of Canadian Alumni Administrators – Ontario, the administration of the scholarship now resides with the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education.

Who is eligible?

Eligible candidates must be employed by a CCAE member institution in Ontario and must be planning to attend a CCAE workshop or conference in Canada during the year. Preference will be given to those planning to attend workshops and conferences in Ontario.

The CCAE Ontario Regional Chapter Scholarship

The CCAE Ontario Regional Chapter Scholarship is an annual award designed to promote professional development within the advancement profession and integration between the different areas of advancement: alumni relations, advancement services, development, public relations, marketing, communications and research. The scholarship is worth a maximum of $500 annually.

Who is eligible?

The scholarship will be awarded to an advancement professional working in Ontario for use to support/defray the cost of attending a CCAE workshop. Particular preference will be given to a professional wishing to broaden their understanding of an area outside of their traditional expertise. To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must be employed by a CCAE member institution in Ontario.

The Richard Lim Professional Development Scholarship

The Richard Lim Professional Development Scholarship is a new scholarship designed to help promote cross pollination and integration between the different areas of advancement. It is worth a maximum of $500 annually. The scholarship will be awarded to an Ontario Advancement Professional to be used or defray the cost of attending a professional development seminar, workshop or conference. This scholarship is in recognition of the contributions and relationships developed by Richard Lim within the alumni and development profession.

Who is eligible?

Candidates for the Richard Lim Professional Development Scholarship must be employed by a CCAE member institution in Ontario, and looking to expand their portfolio through attendance at a professional seminar, workshop or conference within a different stream of the advancement profession from the position presently held. Preference will be given to those planning on attending workshops, seminars and conferences in Ontario.
