CFRE

Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) points for attending CCAE professional development programs

CCAE professional development programs offered since Fall 2009 have been submitted for approval for CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) Continuing Education credits, towards the CFRE designation.

CFRE International establishes and administers a voluntary certification process based on current and valid standards that measure competency in the practice of philanthropic fundraising. CFRE Continuing Education points are awarded for approved professional development and educational programs. A significant number of Canadian advancement professionals hold the CFRE designation.

The CCAE programs below have been approved for awarded contact hours, or CFRE Continuing Education points. Full participation in these programs is applicable for the awarded amount of points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

2011 PD Activities

• CCAE Workshop for Senior Leaders in Advancement – March 4, 2011 in Toronto, ON, has been approved for 5.0 credit hours
• CCAE Workshop Prairies Region – March 10, 2011 in Calgary AB, has been approved for 5.0 credit hours
• CCAE Webinar: College Sector – March 22, 2011, has been approved for 1.5 credit hours
• CCAE Workshop Atlantic Region – April 5, 2011 in Halifax NS, has been approved for 4.75 credit hours
• CCAE Webinar: University Sector – April 19, 2011, has been approved for 1.5 credit hours
• CCAE Webinar: Independent Schools – May 3, 2011, has been approved for 1.5 credit hours
• CCAE National Conference – June 4-7, 2011 in Quebec City QC, has been approved for 12.5 credit hours
• CCAE Workshop Pacific Region – November 4, 2011 in Vancouver BC, has been approved for 4.5 credit hours
• CCAE Workshop Ontario Region – November 18, 2011 in Toronto ON, has been approved for 4.5 credit hours

2010 PD Activities

• CCAE 2010 Summer Institute for New Professionals to Advancement – August 11-13, 2010 in London, ON, has been approved for 10.25 contact hours, or 10.25 CFRE Continuing Education points
• CCAE Workshop: Pacific – November 5, 2010 in Vancouver, B.C., has been approved for 4.0 contact hours, or 4.0 CFRE Continuing Education points
• CCAE Workshop: Ontario – November, 12 2010 in Toronto, ON, has been approved for 4.75 contact hours, or 4.75 CFRE Continuing Education points
