Special Events

At CCAE’s 2010 National Conference we are emphasizing the "special" in Special Events. CCAE members will receive e-mail messages with full details of all events as they become available. Here is an overview to pique your interest and assist with planning.

Saturday, June 5
A special day of golf for CCAE National Conference participants and their schools’ alumni has been arranged at Bear Mountain Golf and Country Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Encourage your alumni in the area to register today to reconnect on the green! They can wear your school colours and enjoy a day of golf and CCAE camaraderie.

Other available Saturday activities include whale-watching, a trip to beautiful Butchart Gardens, or a tour of the lovely City of Victoria.

On Saturday evening, join CCAE friends for the National Conference Opening Reception at the University of Victoria.

Sunday, June 6
At the end of the first full day of the conference, enjoy A Night at the Museum, amid the stunning displays of the Royal British Columbia Museum. This special event is generously supported by CCAE National Partner, MBNA Canada Bank. A CCAE Special Night on the Town will follow.

Monday, June 7
The CCAE Gala Reception and Dinner at the Victoria Conference Centre is our opportunity to recognize and celebrate both achievement and promise among advancement professionals and those who support education. The Gala evening is generously supported by CCAE National Partner TD Insurance Meloche Monnex. A night of post-gala entertainment and dancing will follow the formal program.
