Duties:
Directors-at-Large on the CCAE Board serve two-year terms (maximum of two consecutive terms) and are responsible for program areas assigned to them by the President or Board of Directors.
Profile:
Ivan Muzychka began his career at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1994 as Communications Coordinator, moving on to become Manager of Communications and, since 2007, Associate Director of Communications. Ivan’s responsibilities encompass all aspects of media relations, major events and announcements, partnership communications, ensuring best use of new communications technologies, and maintaining a professional team of communicators. He provides support and counsel to senior university administrators, including the President, on public relations and issues management.
Ivan was a member of the Memorial University team that organized the excellent 1999 CCAE national conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Ivan joined the CCAE Board of Directors as a Director at Large in 2008.
