Duties:
Directors-at-Large on the CCAE Board serve two-year terms (maximum of two consecutive terms) and are responsible for program areas assigned to them by the President or Board of Directors.
Profile:
Susan Rankin is in her 15th year as an advancement professional serving McMaster University. She has progressed from Coordinator of Alumni Branches and Coordinator of Alumni Advancement to Donor Relations Officer, Manager of Alumni Programs in the College of Arts & Student Affairs, Director of Alumni Affairs and, currently, Director, Stewardship & Donor Relations. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph.
Susan is a stalwart of both CCAE-Ontario and the national organization, serving in various key roles since 2000, when she began a two-year stint as Co-Chair of the Program Committee for the Summer Institute for New Professionals in Advancement. From 2002-04 she co-chaired the entire Summer Institute. Since 1999 Susan has several times presented at the Summer Institute and the CCAE national conference. She was Co-Chair of the resoundingly successful 2009 national conference, held in Hamilton, Ontario.
Susan has served in a number of roles on the CCAE-Ontario Board from 2002-09, culminating in her 2007-09 term as President of CCAE-O. Currently, she is Past President of CCAE-O and a Director at Large on the CCAE national Board.
