SFU’s Advancement team is looking for an energetic, creative and entrepreneurial professional to undertake major gift fundraising in one of its newest faculties, the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Faculty of Health Sciences offers a Master’s of Science program in Population and Public Health, a graduate program in Global Health and an undergraduate program in Health Sciences. You will be responsible for major and leadership faculty fundraising programs and campaigns, raising funds for exciting and innovative programs and projects. Reporting to the Senior Director, Advancement and the Dean, and working closely with faculty members, senior administrators, and our dynamic Advancement team, you will have ultimate responsibility for the creation, implementation, management and evaluation of a proactive program that will secure internal and external support for Simon Fraser University and its students. You will have a university degree or an acceptable combination of education and training, and five years of senior fundraising experience including working with senior level volunteers. You possess outstanding presentation and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and successfully obtain support for fundraising activities. You have an understanding of and respect for the values and culture of a university environment. Salary for this position is $79,384 - $94,797 per annum. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
