Reporting to the Vice-Principal (Advancement), you will become an integral member of the leadership team responsible for advancement activities at Queen’s University. Your primary focus will be on generating revenue through philanthropic donations, planned gifts, business partnerships and sponsorships. You will develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to build and sustain relationships with various stakeholders, both in Canada and abroad. Leading by example, you will also direct and motivate a team of fundraising professionals. You are an innovative, strategic planner and a proven manager experienced in leading major fundraising programs. Your hands-on approach to program management has been demonstrated within a recognized development office setting, preferably in the education sector. You bring a background that encompasses strategy development and implementation, budget and revenue forecasting and program analysis. Additionally, you have worked with large database management systems. A university degree is assumed.
