The Development Officer - Research is a new position responsible for developing and managing the fundraising and total revenue generating strategies for identified University research priorities to maximize support to the University of Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Associate Director, Development (Research), University Advancement he/she identifies and manages a portfolio of existing and new constituencies of prospects, donors, partners and stakeholders for university research priorities in alignment with the short and long-term research objectives of the university. Travel and evening and weekend work is required. The ideal candidate will bring three to five years of progressive fundraising experience, with specific major gift fundraising experience and demonstrated experience working directly with donors and volunteers and conducting face-to-face asks; and will possess a relevant university degree.  Professional accreditation through CFRE would be considered an asset.
