The Development Officer - Campaigns is a new position responsible for developing revenue generating strategies for identified fundraising campaigns directed at major gift prospects (alumni, friends, foundations and corporate/business stakeholders) that will continuously maximize support to the University of Saskatchewan in alignment with university priorities. Reporting to the Associate Director, Development (Campaigns and Special Projects), University Advancement he/she acquires major philanthropic gifts from a portfolio of alumni, friends, foundations and corporate/business constituencies, ensuring programs are aligned with the long-term fundraising objectives of the University. Travel and evening and weekend work is required. The ideal candidate will bring two-four years of directly-related major gift fundraising experience – including face-to-face asks - in a post-secondary or equally complex environment and will possess a university degree in a related or relevant discipline.  A professional accreditation through CFRE would be an asset.
