DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – PLANNED GIVING

COMPETITION NO: 10046-M

University Advancement is seeking an energetic, highly motivated Planned Giving Development Officer to grow the university’s planned giving development activity by providing counsel and performing an advisory role to academic and administrative staff and prospective donors regarding planned gift fundraising.  Reporting to the Associate Director of Planned Giving, the Development Officer will understand and apply fundraising principles to identify, cultivate and solicit planned and major gifts.  The candidate will be involved in the development and implementation of gift planning marketing strategies and educational programming delivered to both donors and the campus community in conjunction with University fund-raising policies and practices. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant undergraduate degree and/or appropriate training and experience in a related field and three to five years of progressive fundraising experience with a  proven track record of success in major gift fundraising. A CFRE or similar recognized designation would be an asset.
