About CCAE

The Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) is a volunteer-led organization that promotes excellence in educational advancement. We provide opportunities for networking, professional development and mutual support. Our members represent universities, colleges, institutes, independent schools and cégeps from across the country.

Advancement encompasses alumni relations, communications and marketing, fundraising (development), external relations, and student recruitment.

CCAE offers professional development programs diverse in both content and format, touching on topics of current importance, to meet the needs of our 1,500 members at 140 Canadian educational institutions.

CCAE’s Award and Fellowship programs celebrate the best advancement work in Canada; provide prestigious TD Fellowships in Advancement help build the future of our profession; recognize promising new advancement talent; and applaud those whose achievements and dedication exemplify support for advancement and for Canadian education.

A wide variety of volunteer opportunities for members offer an excellent volunteer learning experience while providing CCAE with very important people power.
